Healing Through Arts is going Online
We are aware the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing understandable concern among our community. The team at Healing Through Arts would like to reassure you that the health of our clients and Therapists as well as our team members, administration and the greater community is our number one priority.
We are being guided by The World Health Organisation (WHO) and therefore have implemented the following proactive and preventative measures:
Our team will be working from home wherever possible without hindering day-to-day business activities.
No handshaking or greetings that impose on someone’s personal space
Regular handwashing and hand hygiene practices
Timely updates to our team of any developments that may affect them or their family
Regarding all Art Therapy sessions, we are offering online Art Therapy 1-1 (and looking into groups as well) for clients who are wanting to continue with their Therapist.
We understand that some clients may not have access to the internet or art materials especially at such short notice, however, sessions over instant messaging platforms such as Teams/Discord/WatsApp etc, can also be organised if this is more convenient for you.
We are also compiling supplies for our Art Therapy packs that will be sent out to all our current clients if this is what you choose.
We do ask that if you or someone in your household have been overseas in the past two weeks, or are suffering from flu-like symptoms, that you advise our team as a matter of priority. In the interest of the safety and wellbeing of our staff, we may choose to delay the visit or engage heightened precautions in this case.
We are implementing these measures not only to keep you, our team and our community safe but also to help prevent larger operational issues around the management of Innovation House and Stretton Centre where our team regularly practice.
We will continue to keep you updated as necessary and if you have any questions, please direct these to our Admin team on 0423 748 060.
We appreciate your patience and co-operation at this time.
